But let me tell you as I have heard his more than 15 outstanding concerts in Pune and Mumbai from 1996 to 2000. Mukul is the most disturbingly gifted musician vocalist on the scene today. None of the male or female vocalist today is anywhere near him when it comes to exposition of any Ragas through some of unusal Bandishes. His Swara conditioned by laya can take any Raga to such heights that is difficult to contemplate unless one listens to such performance. I have recordings of such outstanding concerts rendered by Mukul in my archives. I have recordings and have listened to all the vocalists from Ramkrishnabuwa Vaze. I am yet to come across any vocalist like Mukul . He is even two steps ahed of his father and there was and is none who can sing like him . | ||

I had to tone myself down, I am really bugged with the IITIIM quiz. In the last quiz, I had 15 correct answers, but I didnt figure anywhere in the winners! Yes, am game for a joint quiz. If you dont remember, I had offered earlier too. I think I answered 17-18. In some, I maroed a random guess. | ||

He turned up drunk for EVERY single SPIC MACAY concert we invited him for. The sad part is that he is really very talented, but to see it all go waste is painful to say the least. I think he needs serious help. This is unrelated, but how many did you get right in the IITIIM quiz this time? I have an uncomfortable feeling, you'll win it this time too... I noticed your post, and have added my two cents too. I'm royally pissed off with the IITIIM QM. | ||

Suffer then from the dilemma of going for the second recital or not!! Just holding on to the good memories ~ and not facing reality!!
