| Sanjay Vyas April 16, 2004 01:56 PM PDT I personally find books like "How to win friends and influence people" teaching how to suckup to a person. I both think extremes should be avoided. | ||
| DP April 16, 2004 10:26 AM PDT Think again! Are you really evolving? | ||
| Queer April 16, 2004 04:43 AM PDT I agree with Ravages. If somebody cannot tolerate to hear an opinion slightly or radically different from theirs, then they need to keep shut!!! If they can't take in a healthy bout of discussion......too bad..they can go and hang themselves upside down! so chill.... | ||
| Ravages April 15, 2004 12:42 PM PDT Hi! That's not an issue at all. I don't think one needs to apologise or be apologetic just because the other person doesnt have the sensbility to see you dont intentionally brush them off. Also, I wouldnt care too much of what others think of me. Half the time, they arent being truthful. And the other half, they are thinking all the wrong things about me. So why care? | ||
| Alka April 13, 2004 04:33 PM PDT That is the way, it should be. | ||
| Ms.Madmax April 13, 2004 03:49 PM PDT Rub a dub dub away !!! | ||
| pompy April 12, 2004 11:24 PM PDT quite point blank arent we. | ||
| S Simon April 12, 2004 08:11 PM PDT ronjon da... how nice!.. I also believe you are entitled to my opinion!.. we need to work this out next time.. | ||
| wandy April 12, 2004 07:49 PM PDT :-) No worry....I bet there are more like u in this world and some of them will probably be able to look beyond the offence that your strong opinions might generate!! Though I must say that positive feedback is not really an euphemism for criticism ~ it might be ~ but its not really supposed to be!! take care!! :-) | ||
| :::LL::: April 12, 2004 05:17 PM PDT happens with all of us... difficult to please everyone... | ||
| W-bug April 12, 2004 03:30 PM PDT I am still :-)))) And the reason I am amused is that I have spent my entire life trying NOT to offend anyone, and if that means EVOLVING myself to CHANGE my opinions, I do that too. But that also is the reason why I thoroughly enjoy the company of people who are opposite to me in that respect. So :-))))))) | ||
| delhi brat April 12, 2004 11:24 AM PDT O exalted one, I am not sure that I agree with the last sentence. Granted that we should not go out of our way to piss people off. However, in case we do so inadvertently, I think we owe it to ourselves to make the other person feel better. And let me tell you, I say this not for any altruistic reason. My motivation is very selfish. We feel far better when we forgive or when we seek forgiveness. We feel worse when we offend. We regress when we offend. We mature (or as you say, evolve) when we forgive. Try it some time, Sir. | ||
| Deepan April 12, 2004 12:53 AM PDT Ranjan da - when are u going to rub someone the , ahem, right way? :) that act my friend , i think, will shape more than anything else your evolution :) For the record I enjoy your opinions, especially the tourist thing and we have to take it forward! | ||
| W-bug April 11, 2004 11:17 PM PDT :-)))) | ||
| Ritu April 11, 2004 04:52 PM PDT So...who was it this time around??? Just kidding!!!! BTW, I think that each man his entitled to his/her opinion and fruitful delibrations/discussions on relevant/irrelevant topics are just ways of socially communicating. Nothing wrong with that! And in the procees if u have rubbed someone the wrong way...who cares...!!! its ia a metter of perspective in anycase, is it not? | ||
| priya April 11, 2004 01:18 PM PDT I love the fact that you voice your opinions as and when you can - that way I don't have to guess about where you stand or don't stand... totally agree about the evolving part... then again are you? ;) ( JUST KIDDING!!!!) - Priya (who's been inspired by Ranjan to key in a wise-ass comment ?) | ||
